CARDS (EUCHRE) SECTION
Into June now, start of those winter months, and with our Thursday Card nights, being cooler, means our usual numbers have been sometimes down. Still around the 28-35 though....

The winner of our first Aggregate competition over 6 weeks was won by Jeanette Hosking with 77 points. Congratulations Jeanette.
We have now played 6 games in Sat Interclub, with 5 wins and 1 loss. There is still 2 games till the end of 1st round, going ok at this stage, still a long way to go. We need to keep up the good results.

We have Oxford Club coming to play against us at Hornby on Sat 3rd July, for a friendly annual game (Our interclub Bye Day)
Looking forward to the usual fun afternoon.

We will be shortly starting our “Winter Tournament” games amongst pairs within the card section.
Most of these games are played in the main bar at various times.

It was good to see some new members come along over the last 2 weeks.

We welcome anyone to come along & play. We start every Thursday night at 7-30pm, cost of $3-00, play 12 games of Progressive Euchre, ie. change partners each game, and all finished by usually 9-45pm. Pop upstairs and have a look....
