Functions

Within the Hornby Working Men's Club we have three function areas which are available to host: Weddings, Conferences, Birthdays or any special occasion you wish to celebrate.

These rooms are available to "Members” of this Club or affiliated "Clubs N.Z. Members” Catering is provided with an extensive menu selection to suit any occasion with endless options. Half Day Hire $60, Full Day Hire $120

Full Bar facilities are available in each room with a beverage list that can be tailored to suit your needs.

Rooms Available:-

ALPINE FUNCTION CENTRE

Seating for 80 Guests. - Minimum 50 persons

ALL SPORTS LOUNGE

Seating for 80 to 450 Guests. (This room can be made smaller with moveable screens)

CHALMERS RESTAURANT

Seating for 220 Guests (Available only for lunches). - Minimum 50 persons

Hours/Decoration:	All rooms are available for decoration from 12pm on the day of the function.In the case of larger functions the setup may be done the night before.
Costs:	For Members or Affiliated Members the only actual costs are for food & beverage purchased for your function. A set up fee of $2 per person. A bond of $100 applies to all rooms & will be refunded on room inspection the following day. Payment for your functionmust be made on the night.
Entertainment:	This can be provided by yourself - Bands, Solo Performers, D.J 's or Juke Boxes.
Food:	All Food & Beverage must be purchased from the Club. ThereforeNo Food or Alcohol can be brought onto the premises& No Leftover Food may be taken away. All Catering is done on site. You will have the opportunity to meet with our Executive Chef to organize catering to your needs.

Smoking:	This Club is a "smokefree" venue; please abide by Club Rules and use designated smoking areas.
Persons under the legal drinking age:	Persons under the legal drinking age are able to attend functions but must be supervised and abide by the Club's "Host Responsibility Policy and Rules" at all times.
